[Update] Winter Storm Monday
The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning and downgraded the Winter Storm Warning to a Winter Weather Advisory for parts of southeastern South Dakota. This system is expected to bring several inches of snow and strong winds to the area Monday (January 22). Travel will be difficult Monday.
Sioux Falls sits on the boarder of the advisory and the warning. Minnehaha County is in the Winter Weather Advisory until 6:00 PM Monday, and Lincoln County is in the Blizzard Warning until Monday night.
We can expect widespread blizzard conditions.
