When it comes to burgers, there definitely is one for everyone, especially in Sioux Falls! Sponsored by POET, the 12th annual Downtown Sioux Falls Burger Battle features burgers residents can sink their teeth into. There are only three days left to try all 39 Sioux Falls burger entries this year!

No matter how many burgers are part of this year's Downtown Sioux Falls Burger Battle, it's hard to decide which burgers to try. This will probably be my last burger of this year's friendly competition. But it's all about supporting local Sioux Falls restaurants, like Wiley's Bar. Meet "The W.C.B." Burger!

According to a previous article from my co-worker Jeff Harkness, "The W.C.B." Burger from Wiley's Bar "is an infusion of two chorizo and beef smash patties. Topped with pepper jack cheese, fresh in-house pico de gallo, an over-easy fried egg, fried corn tortilla strips, and ancho lime aioli. All these delicious flavors are brought together by a chili-toasted brioche bun!" This sounds like the perfect burger for brunch or after a long night out.

My husband and I made a trip to Wiley's Bar for some brunch and we knew we had to try "The W.C.B." Burger. This burger was a great meal and it was full of flavors. One little problem I had: I couldn't really taste the over-easy fried egg. I feel like the chorizo and beef smash patties overpowered everything else on the burger. I like all the ingredients on the burger, but not all of them together.

Despite my opinion, I do think this burger was solid. Next time, I'll split this burger with my husband!
