Social media was blazing this past weekend. The question, what the heck was that up in the sky?

People from California to Arizona saw it. A flash across the sky that cast a greenish colored glow. According to The Guardian,

The US navy fired an unarmed missile from a submarine off the coast of southern California on Saturday, creating a bright light that streaked across the state and was visible as far away as Nevada and Arizona.

My son, Jacob was driving truck across Wyoming. He said he wanted to call me and tell me what he saw, but thought I would think he was crazy. He said, it was this bright light, you could tell wasn't a star, and there was a greenish glow all around it. It was freaky, I'm out in the middle of Wyoming, the sky is perfectly clear and right there, in the middle of the night and boom, there it was.

Turns out he did see something. Everyone saw something! Were you in an area you could see the missile too?

That brings me to another point. The other morning I was out getting ready to head to the stand bow hunting. I saw one of the coolest shooting stars ever. Have you seen anything interesting our out of the ordinary lately? If you have, I'd love to hear from you. Email your cool stuff to jdcollins@kikn.com.
