Try the Bowl O’ Dough at the Minnesota State Fair
We're coming up on state fair season in the central United States. That means 80's bands in the grandstands, ferris wheels on the the midway and crazy food in your stomach.
The folks at the Minnesota State Fair took the internet by storm this week when they announced a new addition to the usual fried Oreos and bacon wrapped everything; it's called the Bowl O’ Dough (pictured above).
You know how you like to have cookie-dough ice cream, but the ice cream keeps getting in the way? Well, you can stop by the Blue Moon Dine-In Theater at the fair and get a big bowl of cookie dough.
Don't worry, the raw cookie dough is safe to eat. However there's no word on if they will have beaters for people to lick.
There will be four flavors to enjoy, and they're served with a side of sea salt-flavored ice milk.
- Brownie Batter Swirl: a chocolate chip cookie dough and brownie batter mash-up
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough: a gluten-free mix of classic cookie dough and chocolate chips
- European Cookie Butter: made with Biscoff European spiced cookies
- Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake with Blueberries: made with lemons, fresh curd ricotta cheesecake and blueberries blended into a sugar cookie dough.
Here are some more of the new food at the 2017 Minnesota State Fair.
