Trace Adkins Releasing A Christmas Album October 29

(AP) - Trace Adkins will put his spin on Christmas music this year.

He will release an album of Celtic Christmas carols called "The King's Gift" on October 29. It will include songs like "What Child Is This," "I Saw Three Ships," "Away in a Manger" and "O Come Emmanuel." Kevin Costner and his daughter, Lily, join him on "Silent Night."

Adkins is also planning a Christmas tour beginning November 15 in Effingham, Illinois, that will include performances with a 12-piece ensemble and Adkins telling stories next to a fire.
