The Porcules from Look’s Marketplace

Look's Marketplace was one of the restaurants in Sioux Falls that was recently featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.

The host, Guy Fieri, tried the Motor City pizza and the Porcules sandwich on his visit.

It was fun watching the show because I had actually had the Motor City pizza before! Delicious, by the way. However, I had yet to try the Porcules.

I was recently at Look's and decided to have the Triple D experience!

I ordered the Porcules and a new cocktail called Fieri Hair.

I'm a sucker for a signature cocktail! It features Guy's tequila, Santo tequila. The Fieri Hair consists of Santo tequila, yellow chartreuse, orange curacao, pineapple, and lime. It was tasty but strong. Definitely puts some hair on your chest.

The Porcules is described as, "Pulled pork, smoked pork brisket, Look’s pit sausage,
BBQ sauce, pickled onion, arugula, chili lime mayo on ciabatta."

I mean, I'm not a celebrity chef like Guy Fieri, but I thought the Porcules was pretty darn good. The ciabatta as the bun was a great choice because it holds up to all the pork and sauces. It didn't get soggy at all. My one critique would be the sausage casing was hard to bite through sometimes.

Oh, and I ordered a side of onion rings because they're the best onion rings! They're huge, the batter has a bit of spice, and the onion always bites clean through. Two thumbs up!
