Valleyfair had to close down many rides at the back of the park plus their parking lot because of major flooding this summer. But now we have some positive updates.

Back in November, it was announced that the owner of Minnesota's Valleyfair theme park was merging with Six Flags, now that deal is under review.

Big news happened yesterday in the theme park world after the parent company of Minnesota's largest theme park, Valleyfair, merged with Six Flags, so that could mean some big changes are in store for the 47-year-old park.

Right here in Sioux Falls, you won't have to drive far to enjoy two of the finest theme parks in the region.
