The Boot caught up with several country artists to learn the things they're most thankful for this season, and how they plan to spend the holiday.

Bass player Barry Knox, one of the four members of Parmalee, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Kristin "KJ" Joiner on Saturday (Oct. 21) in Jamaica.

Parmalee’s Barry Knox has asked, and she said “Yes!” The bass player proposed to longtime girlfriend Kristin Joyner earlier this year, and the two are set to get married in 2016.

Growing up in eastern North Carolina, the four men of Parmalee learned to mix good music and good eating from a very young age. The stove was always hot, or the grill was always burning when family would gather. And the live music rarely stopped.
