South Dakota Tops in Nation for Motorcycle Ownership
In a recent study by the Department of Transportation, South Dakota ranks #1 in motorcycle ownership in the nation. One in every 12 South Dakotans now own a motorcycle.
There are a total of 69,284 motorcycles registered in the home-state for the Sturgis Motorcycle rally - and growing.
New Hampshire came in second, while Iowa placed third in the findings. The District of Columbia came in last - where they apparently don't like to ride. They record only 1 bike per 172 people.
