Police have issued a warrant for a man they believe is responsible for the shooting that killed another man early Saturday morning in downtown Sioux Falls.

KSFY TV is reporting a warrant has now been issued for 36-year-old Max Bolden for 1st-degree murder, 2nd-degree murder, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The shooting took place around 1 AM on Saturday (October 26) near 10th Street and Main Avenue. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 37-year-old man had been shot. The victim was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital for treatment, where he later died from his injuries.

Police tell KSFY, they believe Bolden is armed and dangerous. They also believe he is not an active threat to the public. To be safe, however, should you happen to encounter Bolden, you're asked not to approach him, instead, please call 911 immediately.

KSFY also reports that authorities are searching for two vehicles in connection with the shooting.
