Sioux Falls Cat Café Reunites Owner With Beloved Runaway Cat

It was an emotional reunion for a Sioux Falls woman and her missing cat.

Thanks to the efforts of the Sioux Falls Cattitude Café, a woman who thought her furry friend was gone for good was reunited with her runaway cat.

Chanel, a favorite cat of Cattitude Café, has been part of the local downtown cat cafe for over a month. People have been interested in adopting her, but no one in the Sioux Empire has been willing to sign the official adoption papers.

Owners with the Cattitude Café couldn't understand why this loveable Sioux Falls cat still hasn't found a new forever home. But the universe had different plans. Chanel is a runaway cat whose owner has been missing her terribly.

The Cattitude Café shared the emotional reunion and Chanel's story in a Facebook post.

Chanel was previously with the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society before she was part of the Cattitude Café. She has been missing since June.

A very tearful woman reached out to us stating that she thought we had her missing cat. Through shared photos, we were able to confirm that Chanel was in fact her missing kitty soulmate!

Chanel’s real name is Indyca, Indy for short. She just had her 4th birthday on September 27th. Her best friend is a dog named Maize. She will be going home to two new kitten friends. We couldn’t be more happy for Indy and her very grateful family. We’re so glad we could be a part of your story.
