The American Association has been forced due to the COVID-19 Pandemic to postpone the start of their season.

That obviously includes the Sioux Falls Canaries who were scheduled to begin their season on May 19th.

The goal for the league is to begin games again in July with a truncated version of the season only playing 80 games this season.

Since the season would be pushed back two months, the American Association will look to continue their season through late September when they normally end in late August/early September.
