SELBY, S.D. (AP) — Walworth County Sheriff Josh Boll says a Eureka man who died during a chase with law officers intentionally crashed head-on into a semitrailer.

Thirty-one-year-old Destin Bray was killed Friday while being pursued by Highway Patrol officers on U.S. Highway 12. Bray was wanted for alleged child sex crimes.

Boll tells the American News that Bray did not lose control of his vehicle. He says Bray drove into the semi on purpose.

The driver of the semi was not injured,

The sheriff's office is handling the investigation. The state attorney general's office will review the results.
