The San Francisco Giants find themselves in a very familiar position, atop the MLB world.

In what was a roller coaster of a series, the Giants win Game 7, 3-2 behind some timely hitting and the arm of the best statistical World Series pitcher of all time, Madison Bumgarner.

Combine those two factors above with a couple key double plays defensively including two HUGE double plays, San Francisco has been able to win their third World Series title since 2010, doing so in that year, 2012 and now in 2014.

You have to give the Kansas City Royals credit, they battled down from a 3-2 series lead and specifically in Game 7, they fought back from 2-0, to tie it at 2-2, but just couldn't get past the great Madison Bumgarner.

Bumgarner was credited with a win in Game 7 of the World Series and in the process broke the all time innings pitched record in the postseason.

He also won the World Series MVP award too.
