I wonder how they decided which songs would make the album? I mean, Ronnie Milsap has had forty Number One hits and absolutely owned the 1970's and 80's. A Country Music Hall of Famer and a Country Music Legend.

On a personal note, I was 'introduced' to Ronnie with his Kris Kristofferson penned hit 'Please Don't Tell Me How The Story Ends'. Most of the world probably first 'met' Ronnie with his mega-hit, the Eddie Rabbit written song 'Pure Love'. I remember interviewing Ronnie back in the late 1970's when he told me the career changer for him was 'It Was Almost Like A Song', a hit that not only topped the Country Music chart, but was a major Pop/Rock and Adult Contemporary smash as well.

Now, Ronnie is releasing a sensational new album 'The Duets' January 18 featuring some of the biggest stars in music. Singing with Ronnie are artists you may have heard of, folks like Willie and King George, Dolly and Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan and Little Big Town and...well, on and on.

To give you a little taste of what I'm talking about, listen to a terrific version of Ronnie smash classic hit 'No Getting Over Me', a duet with Kacey Musgraves.

For fans of real country music, this album is a 'must have'. And with a treasure trove of Classic Ronnie hits, hopefully it won't be long before we get The Duets: Volume II.
