Overnight Shooting Around Sioux Falls Park

Sioux Falls Police are looking for suspects involved in a late night shooting Monday night in the Bakker Park area of western Sioux Falls.

Police have not released information about the identity of the victim who was shot around 11 p.m. near 61st Street and Bakker Park Drive.

KDLT News is reporting that a unidentified male minor says he has known the victim for seven years.

The young man says the victim’s family is “mortified” by the situation and have been hysterical since they got the news.
