CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) - A University of Northern Iowa football player has been arrested after a fistfight near the campus in Cedar Falls.

The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports that Terrell Sinkfield Jr., a starting wide receiver, was arrested early Sunday morning.

Police say several people were involved in the fight at an apartment parking lot around 2 a.m.

Police say the 21-year-old Sinkfield faces charges of disorderly conduct and interfering with police officers.

A public phone listing for Sinkfield could not be found. Online court records don't list the name of his attorney.

UNI head football coach Mark Farley says he and his staff are looking into the situation.
