There are a lot of very nice homes for sale in Minnesota, but one home topped all others so far in 2022 for being the highest price paid for a residential property.

That $9 million home sale goes to former Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Garnett who unloaded his former lake house for a record in 2022.

According to LocalNews.com, Garnett recently unloaded his Lake Minnetonka mansion for $9 million topping any other residential sales in 2022.

Per the same article, he bought the home for $6.45 million in 2006.

The home is gorgeous and spread across a large 7+ acre lakefront property with beautiful views of the water.

With low availability still on Lake Minnetonka as far as properties are concerned, it wasn't a surprise this home was so sought after.

Garnett starred with the Timberwolves after being drafted in 1995 and became an instant fan favorite and the best player on every T-Wolves team he played on before being traded to the Boston Celtics.

He would go on to win an NBA Championship with Boston before being traded to Brooklyn and eventually back to Minnesota to end his Hall of Fame career.
