WATCH: Minnesota is Bracing For a “Arctic Invasion” Winter
Minnesota is no stranger to strange and unpredictable winters. According to a recent National Publication, the state has the second worst cold season in the entire U.S.
But even though the 'Land of Ten Thousand Lakes' is well accustomed to crazy and inclement weather, if these predictions hold true, it hasn't seen anything like this.
In fact, the entire Upper-Midwest could be bracing for a long and brutal winter, according to a recent viral YouTube video.
The theory behind the video is that due to significant weather change patterns all over the earth, states in the Upper-Midwest could be seeing extreme meteorological changes come January.

An Arctic Invasion?
In a video that's amassed nearly 5 million views, weather presenter and internet personality, Ryan Hall has some bold predictions for the US winter weather forecast.
First things first, weather experts are saying there's a chance for La Niña this year. While this climate pattern forms in the Pacific Ocean, it could have BIG ramifications for the United States. This usually means a colder and snowier winter for the Upper-Midwest.
Also, due to a Polar Vortex developing, Minnesota is said to be on the "Front Lines" of the "Arctic Invasion" this winter. Ryan Hall is predicting a 20 to 40 percent increase in snowfall throughout parts of Minnesota.
And that is just the tip of the iceberg. To get all the details, check out the video from Ryan Hall in the YouTube link below.
