The Minnesota Twins have completed their deals with Michael Pineda and Alex Avila.

The deal for Pineda is a 2 year deal worth $20 million and the hope is once Pineda comes back from his suspension for violating the leagues PED policy that he will be able to regain the success he was having during the 2019 season.

In 2019, Pineda went 11-5 and had a 4.01 ERA in 16 starts for Minnesota before being suspended.

Avila's deal is a one year contract that is worth $4.5 million.

Minnesota snagged Avila in free agency after he spent the last two years with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The 32 year old hit .207 with nine dongers and 24 RBI's in 2019.

Minnesota is continuing their activity in free agency as numerous rumors have them connected to some of the big arms on the market.
