How Many Of Merle Haggard’s 38 Number One Hits Can You Name?
If you know me you know that, in my humble opinion, Merle Haggard was and is the greatest country music singer. Ever.
And if you don't think so, well, you're just wrong.
Hag hasn't had the most Number One's, of course, that honor would belong to George Strait. But Mr. Merle had thirty-eight, and a lot of them were important number one hits. Songs that have become standards.
