ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) — A Sioux Falls man will spend nearly 10 years in prison for robbing a bank at gunpoint in the eastern South Dakota town of Toronto.

The U.S. attorney's office says 39-year-old Nathan Reisetter was sentenced in Aberdeen for bank robbery and possession of a firearm in relation to a federal crime of violence.

He was also fined $12,500 and must pay more than $26,000 in restitution.

Reisetter earlier pleaded guilty. He entered the First Bank and Trust Jan. 2 and intimidated two tellers with a 9mm handgun. Reisetter gave one teller a garbage bag and told her to fill it up with money from the vault, ordered the tellers to the back of the room and took off.

Reisetter was arrested a couple of weeks later at his Brookings job.
