Man Gets 10 Years for Assault on Child After Birthday Party

FORT THOMPSON, S.D. (AP) — A Fort Thompson man has been sentenced for sexually abusing a child after a birthday party.

Acting U.S. Attorney Randolph Seiler says 22-year-old Dillon Bagola was giving the girl a ride home after a party last August when he pulled over and forced her to engage in a sex act.

Bagola pleaded guilty last March to a charge of abusive sexual contact by force and was recently sentenced to 10 years in prison to be followed by five years of supervised release.
