Looking For a New Camper? How About a Gidget Retro Teardrop?
We've been thinking of getting a camper. We've used them before, borrowed from family, and they'd be really handy for family vacations or even hunting trips, depending on where you're going.
Then I spotted this little guy and, despite it being impractical for the family, it would be awesome for the wife and me.
It's called the Gidget Retro Teardrop camper and it's made in Australia. It comes with roomy enough sleeping quarters, a spot for a flatscreen TV (probably not included), and a bed that seems bigger than a camper queen.
It also has a flip up compartment on the outside rear of the trailer that contains the kitchen, including a sink, refrigerator and stove.
The Gidget costs between $13,000 and $16,000 in U.S. dollars, and while that may not seem like a bad price, you don't have to order one from Australia if you want this sort of camper. A Google search will provide you with a plethora of companies selling similar campers here in the U.S.
