A longstanding Mobridge, South Dakota grocery store is under new ownership. Paylessfoods, one of the leading grocery retailers in town since 1960, has officially changed hands as of February 27.

Paylessfoods is now Buche Foods, owned by the G.F. Buche Company. According to the company's website, this will be its 7th store in South Dakota.

Jim Stoick opened his grocery business as Stoick's Supervalu in 1960 and the company has been family-operated since then. The most recent owners, Josh and Heather Stoick, have proudly carried on the traditions of freshness, high quality and customer service in the Mobridge store. "We are going to miss seeing our customers every day, but we also know that community of Mobridge is in great hands!" said Josh and Heather
