LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers Slam Toronto Raptors, Take 2-0 Lead in Series
Replayed over and over, LeBron James break away in last nights game followed up by an over-the-head two handed slam. Was that the best play of the night?
Probably in Jeff Thurn's top 3!
The Cleveland Cavaliers are two wins away from a return trip to the NBA Finals after becoming just the third franchise in NBA history to open 10-0 in a postseason.
James had a triple-double with 23 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists as the Cavs whipped the Toronto Raptors 108-89.
But it wasn't all number-23. Kyrie Irving had 26 points for the Cavaliers, who were tied at 46 before ending the first half on a 16-2 run. Kevin Love added 19 points to the win.
The Spurs were the last team to win their first 10 games of a postseason, doing it four years ago. The Lakers did it in 1989 and 2001.
The Cavs-Raps series continues Saturday night shifting to Toronto. Our coverage begins at 6:30 pm on ESPN 99.1.
