Charlotte Motor Speedway hosted NASCAR's annual event that features only qualified drivers from winning past events. This special contest of winners only, took place Saturday night (5/20) at the North Carolina track.

It was the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup All Star Race. This race is even more unique in the fact that it's a non points earning race, it has nothing to do with helping win a season championship.

This race is all about prestige. Every driver wants to be in it in the first place, but winning the All Star Race means you have beat the best in class. Only actual race winners were on the track this time.

And there's one thing more that we must mention. Money! This race pays $1 million to the winning driver.

Kyle Busch cashed in on this pile of money and pride Saturday night. He took the lead on the final restart with ten laps to go.

Busch passed race leader Brad Keselowsi, who restarted on old tires, and Jimmie Johnson who was running second.

This is Busch's first time winning a Cup race at Charlotte. He did it in the number 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota.

Kyle Larson got by Johnson on the final lap for second place. Kurt Busch came in fourth and Jamie McMurray fifth. See where your driver finished.
