See Tina Fey’s New Look as Former South Dakota Governor on ‘SNL’
When it comes to politics or anything controversial, Saturday Night Live never backs away from these issues. In fact, the hit late-night comedy show thrives on them. Poking fun at political leaders like former South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem is the show’s specialty.
Saturday Night Live has attempted to portray Kristi Noem before. But I think special guest Tina Fey and the makeup department finally hit this one out of the park.

In the Cold Open of the latest Saturday Night Live episode, guest host Amy Poehler played Attorney General Pam Bondi testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee. In the scene, she was getting questioned about a variety of hot-button topics, including The Epstein List and the action of "deploying troops against American citizens." She can't answer those questions without the Homeland Security Director...Kristi Noem.

Surprise guest Tina Fey walks out in a long-haired wig, a prop semi-automantic rifle, and somehow enlarged lips perfectly resembling former South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem. In my opinion, what's said next in the opening SNL sketch is less important than Tina's looks. It's uncanny, her appearance and voice!
Tina Fey is right: her impersonation of Kristi Noem is the "rarest type of person" they have ever imitated on SNL. I'm pretty sure Tina mixed her iconic Sarah Palin voice with her new Kristi Noem's South Dakota accent.
The looks stole the show! Someone should give an Emmy to the SNL wardrobe department now.
