Kevin Harvick totally dominated Sunday's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. He completely thrashed the entire field of competitors.

Harvick led 181 of the 325 laps of the race on the Georgia 1.5 mile track. He beat second place finisher Brad Keselowski to the finish line by nearly three seconds.

Harvick has a love affair with Atlanta Motor Speedway. In 2001 when he became the permanent replacement for Dale Earnhardt, Sr., who died in a crash at Daytona, Harvick got his first victory at this very track just three weeks later.

At this second race of the 2018 NASCAR Cup season, Harvick showed off ridiculous speed to set the pace.

There were a few obstacles along the way for Harvick.  Including a pit stop where he had to return to pit road to have lug nuts checked. But Harvick overcame it all with ease cruising back to the front.

A post-race check revealed one lug nut unsecured on Harvick’s winning No. 4 Ford. The penalty guidelines in the NASCAR Rule Book call for a fine only.

Clint Bowyer finished third making the top three all Fords. Denny Hamlin was fourth and the driver who put on a great display of driving was Martin Truex Jr. who stormed from 35th starting position to run fifth. See where your driver finished.
