Joey Logano held off Kurt Busch by a little over a tenth of a second to win Sunday's GEICO 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at the big Alabama track, Talladega Superspeedway. Logano winning for the first time in 36 races since Richmond last year.

The Ford cars have been extremely strong at Talladega, winning now six in a row. Yesterday's race had six Fords in the top seven at the finish.

The lone Chevrolet in that group was Chase Elliott in third. Kevin Harvick, the pole winner, came home fourth, followed by defending race winner Ricky Stenhouse Jr., David Ragan and Aric Almirola. See where your driver finished.

The 188 lap race saw the "Big One" happen at lap 166. It was a wreck that took out 14 cars. After the field was thinned, Logano had complete control of all the action.

The big pileup on lap 166 all started when seven time champion Jimmy Johnson spun in turn 3. Next up, "The Monster Mile" at Dover, Delaware on Sunday.
