Skittles Attacker Behind Bars in Minnesota
Imagine you're at a restaurant enjoying a nice leisurely meal when all of the sudden, out of nowhere, you get pelted with a bag of candy.
Now picture the entire dining room ducking for cover with bags of Skittles flying everywhere.
That's exactly what went down in Minnesota recently.
The Smoking Gun is reporting that a 19-year old man walked into a Mankato restaurant June 23rd and immediately began hurling bags of the popular candy at unsuspecting diners.
One victim told police she experienced a 'stinging pain' after she was hit in the back of the neck by a Skittles bag.
The attacker was later located at a nearby shop when, according to a Mankato Department of Public Safety incident report, he 'pulled away and attempted to break free from officers' as they were trying to place him in handcuffs. He also allegedly tried to trip an officer and was eventually thrown to the ground by three law enforcement officials.
19-year-old Tristan Stetina is under arrest for the attack and he wasn't too hard to identify what with the heart shaped tattoo under his right eye and what appears to be a tattoo of a laser gun on his forehead.
Stetina is currently being held at the Blue Earth County Jail, facing charges of misdemeanor assault, misdemeanor disorderly conduct and resisting police.
If convicted, he could face more than a year in jail.
