
Road Rage in South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota. Better or Worse?
Sometimes you just can't avoid it. Especially this time of the year with road construction and traffic jams on just about every highway and byway we travel.
It's road rage.
And if you haven't been guilty yourself (liar, liar, pants on fire!), you have certainly seen it on display when you're out driving around.
The folks at Consumer Affairs have been paying attention as to exactly where there are hotbeds of hotheads behind the wheel.
They're out with their annual report on the state of road rage in America.
Let's zero in on the Tri-State area where there is very good news for drivers in one state.
When you factor in things like: traffic incidents involving gun violence, violations for aggressive or careless driving or speeding, and fatal crashes involving aggressive or careless driving, Iowa is a beacon of calm on the roads.
Drivers in the Hawkeye State have the second lowest road rage score in the country, behind only mild mannered Maine.

Things did not bode so well for drivers in Minnesota and South Dakota.
Both landed in the middle of the pack, but slipped in the rankings along the way.
Road rage in the North Star State is the 28th worst in America. Last year, Minnesota ranked 33rd.
Road rage in the Mount Rushmore State is the 36th worst in America. Last year, South Dakota ranked 47th.
