Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp is extending his Live and In Person Tour into 2024 and it includes stops in Iowa and Minnesota.

Des Moines and Duluth are among the 27 cities on the latest leg of the tour, which first crisscrossed the country from February to June of this year.

Part one of the tour wrapped up a little more than a week after the release of his 25th studio album, Orpheus Descending.

Mellencamp's stops in the area begin with a Thursday, April 4 show at DECC Symphony Hall in Duluth.

The next night, Friday, April 5, the tour heads to Iowa for a date at the Des Moines Civic Center.

Mellencamp will also play in Omaha, Sunday, April 7, at the Orpheum Theater.
