The man who has been one of the lead singers for the legendary classic rock band Boston off and on since 2008 is bringing a solo show to our area later this year.

Tommy DeCarlo will be on stage at Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort in Larchwood, Iowa, Saturday, November 25 at 8:00 PM.

Like a lot of us, the Utica, New York native was a fan of Boston growing up and in the 1990s recorded a tribute to the band's late lead singer, Brad Delp, as well as covers of himself singing his favorite Boston songs. Those caught the attention of the band's guitarist and founder Tom Scholz, who picked DeCarlo to replace Delp in 2008.

DeCarlo has been the band's lead singer ever since and appeared on four songs on Boston's 2013 album, Life, Love & Hope.

When he's not singing with Boston, DeCarlo fronts his own band, DeCarlo, with his son Tommy DeCarlo Jr. on guitar.

Tickets for the Grand Falls show are on sale now.
