Nebraska Man Taking a Tour of Every Minnesota Town in 2025
Seth Varner is out wandering again, this time throughout the land of 10,000 lakes.
If you're not familiar with Varner, he's the guy who picks a different state each year and visits every incorporated town in the state. Once he does, he documents the town's history and publishes a travel and history guide at the end of his journey.
Dakota News Now reports that Varner has been touring towns in different states for five years now, and this year, he has set his sights on the great state of Minnesota.

Varner, owner of Wandermore Publishing, told Dakota News Now, “It was April of 2020, and I was a freshman in college at Nebraska-Omaha, and so that’s when the world was ending. That was COVID and everyone’s getting sent home from school and everything. I got the idea in my head, I’m like, ‘You know what, I want to make it a something out of nothing summer and visit every town in Nebraska.’ So, I recruited a buddy and we started sharing it on Facebook just because my mom wanted to see the pictures, but the Facebook page just blew up."
As a result of all the buzz Varner received on social media regarding his travels, he published his first book, "Wandermore in Nebraska” in 2020.
Since setting out on his quest to tour towns in Nebraska, Varner has also has taken a tour of every incorporated town in Kansas, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Iowa. At the conclusion of each journey, Varner publishes a new book showcasing the highlights of his travels.
According to Dakota News Now, Varner took a tour of South Dakota towns in 2022. Since February, he's busy checking out communities throughout Minnesota. So far, he's visited 74 of the 856 incorporated towns on his list.
There must really be something to that Minnesota "nice" thing, because Varner told Dakota News Now, "Minnesotans have been super kind and everyone is really supportive of his project."
