Once again this year, Sioux Falls has been chosen as one of the Top 100 Best Cities by Livability.

Livability is a company dedicated to all things small and medium-sized cities! They publish monthly reports defining the best places to live in America. They also help people "discover the best places to live, work and visit" within those cities.

To be chosen for this list, Livability examines a "city’s economy, housing and cost of living, amenities, transportation, environment, safety, education, and health".

This is just one of the glowing comments from their recent article- -

A modern city on the prairie, Sioux Falls, SD, has competitive schools, high-quality health care, a strong economy with lots of job openings, friendly neighbors and a cost of living that’s lower than the national average. From recent college grads to young families and retirees, Sioux Falls is a welcoming city and one of the best places to live in the U.S.

The article went on to praise our booming economy, our park system, entertainment, and dining options and gave the Washington Pavilion a glowing review too.

Livability ranks the cities with a "Livability Score" that goes all the way to 1,000 points. Sioux Falls came in at a comfortable 708 "Livability Score" which puts the city in 84th place.

When you consider all of the mid-sized cities in the country and that they only choose the top 100 of those, this is an amazing distinction.
