President Trump to Make Return Visit to South Dakota in September
45 is coming back to South Dakota!
The 45th President of the United States, Donald J Trump is making a return visit to the Rushmore State this September.
President Trump is slated to be a special guest for the South Dakota Republican Party’s Monumental Leaders Rally on Friday, (September 8) at the Rushmore Monument just outside of Rapid City.
The South Dakota GOP made the big announcement on Twitter on Wednesday, saying the Monumental Leaders Rally just got 45 times better, as we look forward to hearing from the original America First Leader, President Donald Trump.
Dakota News Now Reports, the Monumental Rally was originally scheduled to be held today, (July 21), but the South Dakota GOP postponed the event to Friday, (September 8) instead.
The last time Trump visited South Dakota was back in July of 2020 for a big fireworks celebration at Mount Rushmore for the 4th of July.
That by the way, was the last time a fireworks display was held at the National Monument, despite repeated attempts to schedule subsequent Independence Day celebrations at Mount Rushmore.
Will there be fireworks this time? Not the aerial kind, but knowing President Trump, I'm sure he will have a few fireworks of his own to lay on the crowd to help excite them that evening.
President Trump's visit will be showcased by the Monumental Leaders Dinner which will also be held at Mount Rushmore that night.
Those interested in attending can attempt to secure tickets to the Monumental Leaders Rally here.
