Another mode of transportation is coming to the Sioux Empire soon.
Megabus, announced on Monday, (February 10) that it plans to offer additional bus line services to 150 U.S. cities, including Sioux Falls.

Dakota News Now is reporting the extended service here in the Sioux Falls area will be possible thanks to a new partnership with Jefferson Lines.
A few other new cities hopping on the Megabus include Memphis, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Billings, and Spokane.
Megabus' expanded routes will soon include services to 14 different states across the Midwest and throughout the western region of the nation.
The Megabus brand was introduced here in the U.S. back in April of 2006. Since that time they have established hubs in cities like New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas, and Washington to name a few.
One of the main selling points Megabus likes to use towards would-be travelers is that bus service across the U.S. has never been easier!
Megabus double-decker coaches can accommodate up to 81 passengers. And the Megabus fleet is easily identifiable on the roads and highways, as all their single and double-decker coaches display the Megabus.com name on the front and sides in yellow against a blue base with the Megabus logo on the left side of the coach, facing forward and towards the rear of the bus.
Expanded Megabus tickets and schedule information are now available. You can get all that info and learn more about what the Megabus lines have to offer here.
