Garth Brooks Announces His Downtown Nashville Bar
Garth Brooks has confirmed that he will be opening a bar and entertainment venue in downtown Nashville. A three-story "entertainment concept" will be located at 411 Broadway, formerly occupied by longtime Nashville favorite Paradise Park.
The name of the 40,000 square foot venue was not released in a press release issued on Tuesday (April 5). A timeline for the opening is also unknown. Brooks has partnered with Strategic Hospitality on the venture, and he says the goal is a classic honky-tonk that "welcomes all and encourages love and kindness."
Brothers Benjamin and Max Goldberg own Strategic Hospitality. A spotlight at Visit Music City Nashville lists Pinewood Social, Merchants Restaurant, the Catbird Seat and Aerial as other properties they own, as well as Paradise Park. Their own website notes that Aerial and the Paradise Park complex were old projects.
This news comes three weeks after the Nashville Business Journal reported that Brooks was "eyeing" the site for his honky-tonk. The building sold for $48 million in December 2021, and further reporting by All Access revealed that Brooks' business manager, Cheryl Harris of O'Neal Hagaman PLLC, was listed as the registered agent of the building's new owner.
Many have speculated that Brooks' wife Trisha Yearwood may also get involved with an eatery — she has hosted Trisha's Southern Kitchen on the Food Network for several years and has published several cookbooks.
The Country Music Hall of Famer becomes the latest star with a bar on Lower Broadway, joining Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert.
