Major parking rules are now in effect in downtown Sioux Falls, and we know drivers have questions.

On May 1st, new Downtown Sioux Falls parking rules officially began. Changes include a new vehicle ordinance that requires vehicles to leave 10 feet of clearance between the back of their car and the center yellow line.

One of the biggest changes for downtown Sioux Falls drivers is having to pay for parking on Saturdays. The new parking enforcement hours will now be Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM for metered spaces.
