According to the National Weather Service, the bulk of the snow showers will primarily affect the North Shore area of Minnesota. Over 4 inches of snow are expected in some parts, with the Arrowhead region seeing the highest amounts of snowfall.

A fast-moving clipper will bring snow to portions of the
Northland early Tuesday through Wednesday morning. While most of
the Northland has a chance of a dusting up to an inch of snow, the
greatest accumulations are likely to be in the Arrowhead. There
is a 30 percent chance of 4 inches or more over Lake County and a
60 percent chance of 4 inches over Cook County. The greatest
probabilities are over the northern portions of both counties.

Lake-effect snow will persist over snowbelt areas of the South
Shore on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Total snow
accumulation in those areas of 1 to 4 inches is forecast.
