SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Police in Sioux Falls say fake video lottery tickets are again being passed in the city.

Police spokesman Sam Clemens says a number of fraudulent tickets have been reported by businesses over the past couple of months. The most recent incident happened Tuesday night at the Ramada hotel by the airport, where a $1 ticket was made to look like it was worth $600.

Clemens says the phony tickets, which typically claim between $200 and $600, are rarely discovered at the moment they are passed. He says the fraudulent tickets are usually discovered at the end of the night, when tickets can be closely inspected.

Clemens says no one has been arrested in connection with the fake tickets.
