Ruste-Waul Post 154 of the American Legion will be hosting The Veterans of Comedy (TVOC) on Saturday, February 15. There will be two shows on February 15 at the Montrose Legion with the first show having a pork chop supper included. The recommended age for attending TVOC shows is 18 and up.
The first show requires a ticket purchased in advance ($30).
6:00 – pork chop supper. 7:00-8:30 – comedy show (3 comedians). 8:30 – visit merchandise table and have a drink.9:00 – exit the venue through the south (back) door and staff clean up.
Tickets for the second show of the evening can be purchased in advance or at the door ($12 presale or $15 at the door). 9:30-11:00 – comedy show (3 comedians with more adult content).
The Veterans of Comedy is a group of military veterans who are also veteran comedians who have chosen to represent and support talented veterans who desire to share their gifts with the world. Their mission is to use laughter as a tool to create and foster bonds between veterans and their communities. They partner with organizations and groups who provide resources and education to transition to Vets. Through performances at military institutions, comedy clubs, casinos and theaters worldwide, they are able to demonstrate the power of laughter as a method for coping and connecting.
