We talked with John Long who is the Mycogen Seeds Customer Agronomist. John explained how to use yield data to make seed buying decisions.

John says: 'We have more access to yield data than we've ever had before.' We talked further on what should be kept in mind when selecting corn and soybean varieties.

John says: 'Things should start at home.' 'Then with that, make a plan looking at other data.'

We asked John how to evaluate new technology. His answer to that was: 'Talk to your dealer and have them walk you thru some of these issues.'
