Freddie Hart was born in Loachapoka in 1926. At the age of 15, Freddie lied about his age and joined the U.S. Marines during WWII. He saw action in Guam and Iwo Jima.

Freddie began his recording career in the 1950's, but it was the signature hit "Easy Lovin'" that Freddie is most remembered for. You know you have a hit record when it's named the CMA Song of the Year 2 years in a row!

Freddie is 85 now and there are few things better than to sit back and listen to the "Hart of Country Music". Enjoy this great video performance!
