There was a recent wedding in Sioux Falls with a surprise unlike any other. This could possibly one of the biggest moments in a South Dakota wedding.

You never know what's going to happen during your wedding day. But no one would guess that a major country star would appear at your reception! That's what happened to Marinda and Brent at their recent wedding. And the country singer who showed up to the party? The frontman of Rascal Flatts Gary LeVox!

How Did Gary LeVox End Up at a South Dakota Wedding?

I was able to speak with the newly married Marinda about how Gary LeVox ended up on stage at her wedding. It was a surprise she never thought would happen, but having Gary there felt like it was fate.

My dad had a meet and greet with Gary and the band back in January and while he was there he texted me and asked me if we had booked a DJ yet for the wedding. I texted him back and said yes, should I cancel them because you booked Rascal Flatts to come instead? As a joke mostly, but my dad is known to do crazy things. We heard nothing back from him so we were secretly hoping for it the whole time but never asked again!

Marinda told me she figured some wedding guests knew about Gary's appearance, but for anyone who didn't, it's a night they'll never forget! Having Gary there was just the cherry on top for the happy couple. They were thrilled to share this moment with everyone they love in one room.

We had so many friends and family there that took time out of their holiday weekend to come celebrate us from as far as Alaska so it was so cool to experience what felt like, and was, an actual dream scenario with them!

Marinda and Brett will "rewind" this day for years to come. Congratulations to South Dakota's newest love birds!
