Chris Young Concert Canceled

The Chris Young concert, which was scheduled for October 24th at the Denny Sanford Premier Center has been canceled. The news first broke about the cancelation late Tuesday afternoon. Here is a press release from the Denny Sanford Premier Center.

The Chris Young concert scheduled at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on October 24, 2020, has been canceled.  Tickets purchased will automatically be refunded.  Please direct any questions to your original point of purchase.

The concert was to be hosted by Governor Kristi Noem's Sportsman's Showcase. At the time of this report, there has been no word on whether or not the Sportsman's Showcase itself is canceled, but as of right now they are still moving forward with the two-day event.

Although no reason for the cancelation of the concert is known at this time, our news partners at Dakota News Now are reporting that the concert became a contentious point of discussion on a well-known website earlier this week.
