An award-winning singer, songwriter, and TV personality made a quick "hello" to Sioux Falls without anybody realizing it.

"The One and Only" Lionel Richie recently paid a unexpected visit to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. But the question now is why did he come to the 605?

I was scrolling Facebook the other day and to my surprise a local business owner named Glenn Fenwick of Elite Limousine had a special passenger in one of his limousines. Glenn posted the unique encounter in a Facebook post. You have to see it to believe it!

I'm sure the last thing Glenn expected was to have a former Commodore member in his limo!

So Why Did Lionel Richie Come To Sioux Falls In the First Place?

Lionel Richie is about to hit the road for his "Sing A Song All Night Long Tour" with the group Earth, Wind & Fire. The first stop on this tour is in Saint Paul, Minnesota next Wednesday, June 24th.

There could be a few reasons why Lionel Richie made a secret trip to Sioux Falls. Maybe he wanted to have a little vacation without being noticed and before his big tour kicks off. But from the looks of the Facebook post from pilot Glenn Fenwick, it appears that Lionel was using the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center as a rehearsal space.

Who knows? Maybe Lionel Richie will do a show someday soon in Sioux Falls after his time using the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center! I know if he did perform in the Sioux Empire, everyone would be "dancing on the ceiling!"

13 Times Sioux Falls Made it into a 'Jeopardy!' Question

If the world was divided into Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune people, I would be down for Jeopardy! all the way. It's a lot more fun, it makes me feel smart because I can retain lots of trivia, and I am a horrible speller. So Wheel is out, no whammies.

Recently I discovered (I mean wasted a lot of time on) a website that is an archive of clues that have been on Jeopardy!.

While digging around the archive, I wanted to find out how often Sioux Falls came up in a question (Answer) on the show. Since 1990 Sioux Falls has been part of a question or an answer 13 times.
