MITCHELL, S.D. (AP) — A children's choir from South Dakota is scheduled to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at a Minnesota Twins game in June.

The Daily Republic reports the Mitchell Area Children's Choir is set to sing the national anthem June 11 at the game between the Twins and the Boston Red Sox at Target Field in Minneapolis. Of the choir's 42 members, 37 are set to sing at the game.

The selection of the choir to sing at the game came following choir director Kim Bruguier sending an audition tape of the children performing at a Sioux Falls Skyforce basketball game in 2015.

The children's choir is also set to perform the day before the Twins game at Valleyfair amusement park in Shakopee, Minnesota.
