Stolen Guitars Recovered According to Band Whiskey Myers

Three guitars were stolen from the stage of The District near the at Empire Mall on Sunday (December 17) during a Whiskey Myers concert.
Among the items stolen according to the Sioux Falls Police Department are a 1973 Les Paul Gold Top guitar valued at $3,000, a green Fender Stratocaster worth $2,500, and a natural maple wood Fender Telecaster priced at $2,000.
The District may have a suspect on video and is reviewing surveillance footage.
Sioux Falls police say they advise victims of stolen property to follow up by monitoring any for sale sites online. Pawn shops are also alerted of stolen items and verify incoming items with the list.
Authorities do monitor social media sites when possible to look for possible stolen items listed for sale.
